We maintain flexible working hours with meaningful overlap across most major timezones, and operate async-first by default — detailed updates, thorough documentation, and structured check-ins mean distance rarely slows things down. Both, depending on scope. For well-defined deliverables — a landing page, a specific feature, a migration — fixed-price works best, so you know the cost upfront and we're accountable to a clear outcome. For ongoing product work or a long-term technical partnership, a monthly retainer keeps things flexible. We'll figure out which fits best during our first call.

A short discovery call first (30 min) to understand the problem and scope. We then send a written proposal with timeline, deliverables, and cost — no surprises. Once aligned, work happens in structured sprints with regular check-ins, staged deliverables, and a staging URL you can review before anything goes live.

Both — and we're equally comfortable with either. Whether it's jumping into an existing product, extending a live feature, handling a technical migration, or architecting something entirely from scratch, our approach stays the same: understand the problem fully first, then build the right solution for it. The goal is always clean, maintainable code regardless of where the project starts.

Every engagement starts with a signed NDA and a clear contract. All code, assets, and deliverables produced during our engagement belong entirely to you — no exceptions, no licensing grey areas. We treat your product details, business logic, and internal architecture with the same discretion you'd expect from any trusted senior team member. If your legal team has a preferred contract template, we're happy to work from that instead.
